I couldn’t be more thrilled to have worked on a project and an album that was carefully crafted to please not only my ears but all the ears of you reading this right now. We have three engineers on this album, one track from Jeziel Quintela and a few more tracks from Arturo Garces and a few more tracks from myself - Jim 'Dharam Deep' Carson.
Yes, due to time and budget constraints, I had to think fast and on my feet and took my hand at mastering some of the tracks on this album. Also, a last minute hiccup, had me removing one of the tracks which sped up the release of the album which just happened to be perfect timing before we get too deep into the holiday season. So as the Christmas spirit is in full swing here in Bangkok, Thailand, we are making a little love and getting down tonight by presenting to you our #1 charting topping album “P-House Beats, Vol. 4” on Music Is Medicine - MIM affiliate Cola & Lollipops which started in 2020 during #COVID19 which I like to refer to as #HOVID69 for all of us who enjoy some #humor #comedy #fun #entertainment and excitement in our lives. If it weren’t for Hovid69 the very beginnings of Cola & Lollipops may have never seen the light of day so I express gratitude and thanks for this time of reflection and creativity.
We really didn’t get serious until 2022 until the release of #idtfkngno “Jack” and the second release entitled #Latinas which is such a beautifully produced and #romantic #love #ballad that I am surprised why someone like #Ultra or #Defected haven’t tried to sub-license it yet.
I will thank my muse Tanya because if she didn’t talk so much I probably would have never put on my headphones for peace, quiet, and a little #music #therapy She is the inspiration for many songs, including one I am working on right now. Forever grateful to Tanya for all the songs she has inspired and turned into Top 10 hits.
With all that said, we at Cola & Lollipops have been making waves the last couple of months ever since the first P-House series was released on October 31, 2024. Since then all 4 albums have been in at least the Top 20 of Funky House and the last 3 albums have been in the Top 10; with this latest compilation at #1 in #jackinhouse, #2 in #funkyhouse, #3 in #bass #housemusic, #5 in #nudisco, and #10 in dance and #progresssive. Even our #bestof2024housemusic album made a return to the Top 20 of Funky House along with the DJ Mix compilation Tech House & Funky House - Best of 2024. So major wins all around in 2024 and I am super happy to share the news!
It is now Sunday night, Monday morning here in Bangkok and we continue to hold the #1 spot in Jackin' House, #2 in Bass House, and #3 in Nu Disco and Funky House.
I couldn't ask for a better way to end the year out on a high and happy, grateful note with another album reaching the top of the Beatport Top 10 album charts in multiple genres. Next up is Cola & Lollipops' singles reaching the top of the charts. I can feel it coming. It's not why I make music, but it sure feels good to strive towards the goal of spreading the music around the world and increasing awareness about the tunes all of us here on the label pour our sweat and love into each and every day.
