Welcome to the new weekly update where I will be checking in with everyone on Sunday, afternoon to evening, to deliver Cola & Lollipops' weekly music related reports from the weekend.
Cola & Lollipops had a fantastic day on the charts for Saturday, November 16, 2024. The Dirty Rabbi לוי "Feel The Love" had a fantastic showing with a debut in Funky House at #11, Nu Disco #22, and in DJ Tools breaking through the Top 10 of the charts and reaching the number #3 position.
As it is our first release with him, we are super proud of this strong showing and rooting for more success for "The Dirty Rabbi." It is his birthday this weekend and he is celebrating in Miami right now. Happy Birthday!!!
His first release is amazing and we couldn't be more proud at the Cola & Lollipops bass-station here in Bangkok; and he is an absolute joy to work with and we have known him a long time, since 2018, I believe... So 7 years, super clean guy, even if he calls himself "The Dirty Rabbi." He is like rest of us here, spiritual and conscious, but also likes to have fun and party!

Last night, I played at a brand-new venue called EDEN Dispensary & Cafe (Thonglor), in Bangkok, Thailand, and I must say I enjoyed the night; and I thank everyone who showed up to the great space for a night of 95% of our label's tracks, besides dropping the new Chris Lake remix of Green Velvet "Percolater" out now on Black Book Records; and a few other gems I picked up from Beatport over the weekend in various sections of Tech House & Funky House.
The lighting and sound was fantastic and the vibe from the crowd was positive and upbeat.
The DJ placement was just where a DJ would want to be in a nightclub or venue and the dancefloor was dope!!!
Some funky house bangers I played that were really tight besides everything on Cola & Lollipops, included Sandro Puddhu "American Boy," (Original Mix) on Acetone and Richard Grey "At Night" on G*High which added to the vibe of the night.
The venue owners did a great job at curating an amazing space and made it very comfortable and inviting for me the entire time. I would highly recoomend other people attending events here and would love to see more house music in this space and weekly events.

The entire staff, especially the budtenders, taking some video during the night were very friendly, outgoing, and good vibes!!!
Overall, a great night out; and definitely, an up-and-coming space in the Bangkok underground house music scene. Thank you again to everyone that came on such short notice and stayed until the last song. You guys know you are!!! :) Love you so much!!! :)))
Congrats to "The Dirty Rabbi לוי" again on the #3 Top 10 placement in DJ Tools with his "acapella" versions of "Feel The Love," the track that everyone will be singing this summer here in the hot season in Southeast Asia - Thailand, and back in the USA for winter in places like Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, New York City, and The Dirty Rabbi's home in the clubs of Denver, Colorado!!!
This is going to be one to remember for summer season in Ibiza and for many years to come on dancefloors all over the world like in Brazil where we get lots of love and joy from our Brazilian army and family of pimp house heads!!!! Thank you Brazil!!! We love you!!!!
A very strong showing for the first day out on the charts, I am excited to see what Sunday brings for "Feel The Love" and "The Dirty Rabbi."
It could go to #1 on Funky House and Nu Disco and DJ Tools all at the same time. You never know. We have had #1 Funky House releases before with "Move It Like Olga" (Ganesha Cartel Remixes) and on DJ Tools at #1 with "House Music Saved Me" DJ Tools, beats, and acapellas.

The track "Lost In London" was tearing up the "Bass House" charts & "Tech House" charts on Beatport all week long and was moving from #12 to #18 to #16 to #13 to #14 on "Bass House." It was like watcing a ping-pong ball trying to keep track of where this track was headed. I tested it out last night at a gig for the label and it sounded amazing! I highly recommend trying to mix it with Green Velvet "Percolator" (Chris Lake Extended Remix) on Black Book Records. https://www.blackbookrecs.com/
