"Lost In London" by Jim Carson officially enters the Beatport Top 100 Bass House Releases at #13 today as well as entering the Dance/Pop Charts at #39 respectively. This is a huge win for Carson as this song may have never seen the light of day had he left it in the hands of a dodgy record label ran by a man from the UK.

Anytime a song, EP, or album enters the Top 100 charts of Beatport it is an occasion for celebration.

Just barely missing the Beatport Top 10, Carson continues to show the dance music world there is a reason to jump for joy around Carson and all of his smashing hit recording releasing events. Earlier this year, Carson took the #1 spot for the single "Move it Like Olga"(Ganesha Cartel Remix) in the Beatport Top 100 of Funky House and the year before that he scored a #1 release with record "House Music Saved Me."

In the Dance/Pop charts Carson is also doing very well at #39 with "Lost in London" on Cola & Lollipops. "Lost in London" is a "tech house pimp house track from Mr. Carson himself, inventor of the genre - Pimp House - with some thick bass and dancey booty shaking grooves. Plump and ripe for the dance floor. An extended mix, an edit, and original mix to choose from."

If you haven't already downloaded or puchased the single, don't put if off until tomorrow, the time is now: https://www.beatport.com/release/lost-in-london/4809551 (Full Release)

Our favoite mix from the album is the Extended Mix, made for DJs primarirly, but can be enjoyed by anyone. Lisen for yourself: https://www.beatport.com/track/lost-in-london/19728450 (Jim Carson "Lost in London "Extended Mix")

In other news, the release "Excuse Me While I Kiss the Roses" from Jim Carson featuring DJ MOTA (US) is charting concurrently with "Lost in London" on the "Minimal/Deep Tech" Top 100 releases where it went down two spots to #98 from #96

Both of these releases will be coming out on "Pimp House Beats, Vol. 2" at Beatport tomorrow. Carson's new 9-track album - "Pimp House Beats, Vol. 2" - is going blow you away with Its impeccable track selection and attention to detail.

For now you can stiill grab the first song on the release here: https://www.beatport.com/release/excuse-me-while-i-kiss-the-roses/4807230

If that isn't enough for you, you can still grab the epic "Pimp House Beats, Vol, 1" that has some beautiful songs and funky rhythms. Recently, heard on Tony B's afterhours mix show on KLUC in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The track "Voicemail" (Original Mix) offers the listener a chance to ponder both love relationshiops and telecommunications with a deep rolling bassline .and both slammon' four on the floor house beats and boombastic breakbeats. Carson's favorite track on the album is the first track "Honey Disco Love," but others seems to enjoy "Happiness Is Free" and "Travel Through Sound." Listen to previews of all seven songs here: https://www.beatport.com/release/pimp-house-beats-vol-1/4802632

"Progressive Pimp" is a slick, progressive style tune yet still remains true, faithful, and loyal to pimp house.

Jim Carson is the inventor of Pimp House. The name Pimp House comes from Carson's ability to get all the ladies on the dancefloor when he is spinning & spin them into an erotic, tantric, tribal groove. Carson has been experimenting with his Pimp House mix style since he began Djing nearly three decades ago in 1997 when most of his audience was born, but it wasn't until 2017 that the first pimp house record was released Pimp Respect (I Am The One) the single and the album full of various pimp house tracks blending a fusion of funky house and nudisco into sexy grooves. The brand-new 7 track album "Pimp House Beats, Vol. 1" released on Halloween - October 31, 2024, is a testament to Carson's dedication to the Pimp House movement and house music worldwide. He shows no signs of slowing down and he will be spreading the gospel of Pimp House in every country & on every continent. Get ready for the Pimp House Revolution!.

"Pimp House Beats, Vol. 2" drops tomorrow, Monday November 11, 2024 at Beatport at 8am MST. Please visit this page to pick it up: https://www.beatport.com/label/cola-lollipops/84800

Already on YouTube in some countries, you can listen to the album in its entirety here:

When will volume 3 come out? That is what every insider and pimp house enthusiast wants to know. Only Caron knows for sure and for now he isn't talking a whole, lot but says, "Sooner than you think."

Given that the last two "Pimp House Beats" releases were only 11 days a part in their release times, we except the same time frame, or sooner. Time will tell.

Enjoy all that www.colaandlollipops.com has to offer and have a beautiful night!
